Individual

There are many reasons you may want to talk to someone about what’s going on for you. Individual therapy is a time and space where you can feel safe, free from judgement and supported to explore the issues that brought you to therapy in the first place.

The prospect of individual psychotherapy may initially be quite daunting. If you are experiencing difficulties though, talking through things with a qualified professional could lead to meaningful change in your life. You will have an opportunity to explore the origins of your issues, increase your awareness and understanding of what you are facing and to make meaning of where you’ve come from and where you’re heading.

What does Individual Psychotherapy Involve?

Individual psychotherapy can be an intense experience but it is a collaborative process and I will work with you at an appropriate and comfortable pace. I work using an integrative approach focusing on the wide range of tools offered by Transactional Analysis to encourage personal growth and change.

I will invite you to explore patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving that may be deep-rooted but are also holding you back in some way. The process will be proactive and I work in an open way that will challenge those unconscious beliefs or attitudes. I believe that meaningful change comes when we have a clearer idea of our emotional selves and what’s going on inside.
